Phoenix Specialist Contracting Ltd is a totally independent, wholly privately owned Company providing service and expertise through a nucleus of Staff who bring extensive experience gained at the highest professional levels in the Post-tensioning Industry both in the UK and Overseas.

We are able to provide advice on the Value Engineering of Concrete Structural Frames at all stages from feasibility, through tender to final construction and completion on site.

The Company Partners with it’s Clients in the Building market to achieve efficiency and commercial viability in the design and construction of the concrete frame structure so as to give the end user the best possible layout and maximum flexibility for the building.

We provide sub-contract packages at levels to suit our Clients from full design, supply and install, though to supply and supervise only. We are always willing to discuss how best to formulate the package to suit the requirements.

PSC operates an Approved Quality System in accordance with the requirements of UK CARES and BS EN ISO 9001 (2008). This system is under constant review and improvement to ensure that we meet the latest requirements of the Industry.

Health, Safety and Environmental issues are paramount to the Company in the efficient operation of it’s business. PSC operates an HS &E policy in accordance with latest Industry Standards and we aim to ensure that all our staff has CSCS certification at the appropriate level.

As well as in-house expertise PSC works closely with Specialist Post-tensioning designers to supplement our ability to provide design services. These designers work under our direction and supervision so as to ensure design intent is not compromised.

PSC staff has huge experience in multi-strand post-tensioning for large Civil Engineering structures and can boast projects such as LNG/LPG Containment Vessels, Balanced Cantilever, Incremental Launch and Glued Segmental, internally and externally post-tensioned bridges, Floating Offshore structures and Nuclear Containments amongst their achievements.

Remedial, concrete repair and strengthening works have synergy with post tensioning and PSC is capable of undertaking such work on bridge structures and tanks as well as buildings.

The Company is always willing to take on and master other Specialist activities and is continually looking out for opportunities to provide niche market services within the Industry as part of a considered plan for development in the future.
